Gaza in Beirut

Description

Part of Series ‘Framed’, “Gaza In Beirut” was taken inside a home on Mar Mikhail, while photographing damages for an assessment report, after the August 4th Explosion in Beirut. The photo on the wall looked like it could have been taken inside the apartment, as if it was a mirror reflecting the house it is hung inside. The photo on the wall, Gaza, was still in its place with glass from its frame shattered and falling to pieces. It is a photo of a family standing in the rubbles of their own destroyed home in Gaza, taken by a Lebanese filmmaker and gifted to a foreign reporter based in Beirut.
